 Pperuvian Irma B4027
White, 122665, Full Peruvian
Selected as the first pick in the second importation, Irma’s luster and lock were immediately obvious. She was transported back to Spokane and arrived the day of the first Alpaca Showcase, judged by Don Julio Barreda. Her owners carried Irma, who would not lead, to the show ring and drug her around the arena. She was matted and dirty, but when Don Julio opened her fleece and looked at her luster, he grinned broadly at her new owners. Irma was awarded first place; her first and only show experience.

Irma has been on a small farm and under bred. She has only thrown seven cria since her importation. Two of those have gained notoriety including Tagi of Legacy Hills, co-owned by Latah Creek Alpacas and Chelsea Farms, who took First Place and Color Champion at AOBA Nationals in 2001,as well as first place and Color champion at Alpaca Western Extravanza. Irma was purchased in 2003 by SunRock Suris.

Pperuvian Inca G4581
White, 123076, Peruvian
There are many superlatives used to describe exceptional herdsires and all of them apply to Pperuvian Inca. A remarkable, pre-potent import, Inca has proven himself repeatedly, consistently throwing extreme fineness of fleece, glaring luster and excellent definition of lock. At the end of the 2004 show season, we counted 17 champions and reserve champions a major US shows, including AOBA Nationals, the AAA Futurity, Alpaca Western Extravaganza, the International Alpaca Odyssey, as well as multiple championships at other shows. At the time of his importation, Inca had a micron count of 17; at the age of 10, his micron count was 24. Inca has been a pillar in the breeding program at Latah Creek where his book is closed.

Sometimes you can look and look for a great male with great bloodlines and hope he can help improve your herd. I believe this is one of those males. Mahalo has lock and luster that we believe will be past on to our cria's. His density and bone and conformation are way above average. We are looking for a breeder who wants to improve on his herd and show his cria's. We look forward in showing him next year and most of all in breeding him to our herd. He has great bloodlines on both sides of his perigee. With putting him on the market we have decided to make him one of six herd sires. Along with great luster and conformation his bloodlines are sought after. It gives us new bloodlines and we would like to share them with someone.
