Captain
Wasabi is the Son of Award Winning
Captain Morgan. Wasabi looks just like
him. Wasabi has a full fleeced face,
dense medium brown pencil lock. Lineage
is 1/2 Bolivian and 1/2 Peruvian.
Captain Wasabi was one of our first purchase. In fact the breeder we bought him from
asked us if we would take him out of the package after we verbally agreed on the price. He
took a ribbon at the show they were at and someone wanted to buy him. We said no.
The next year we sent him to the Futurity show and he took a second. On to MAPAC in one
of the biggest shows to date with over 1300 alpaca's. Captain Wasabi took a 1st place ribbon and
was reserved Color Champion. He has also taken a 1st at PNAA Showcase show and a 3rd
place ribbon at the IAO Show. I wish we would have taken a lot more photo's of him in his
full fleece, but we were new in the alpaca business and did not know how important it was
to take photo's of the alpacas.
His sire is Captain Morgan and granddad is Macgyver and great granddad is
Bruxo. Like his dad
he gets better with age.
His micron count in Aug of 2005 was 20.7 and his standard deviation was 4.7 and fiber greater than
30 microns was 3.7%. This is at the age of 20 months. I believe these results are great for a colored
alpaca.
We are hoping for outstanding cria's from Captain
Wasabi. He has great lock and luster with a great
alpaca head. He as outstanding bone. His first cria's hit the ground in 2007 and they are both outstanding.
In 2008 he has 4 cria's due. We hope you can see the value in this upcoming male in your future breeding
plans. We are offering in 2008 the first breeding to Captain Wasabi for
$1500.00 and if you have two females
to send us we will offer that breeding for
$1000.00
each. So book your breeding now.
